Contracts Engineer (Electrical)
Job Description
We are seeking a Contracts Engineer (Electrical) to support contract administration activities for M&E construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and issue contractual letters, notices and correspondence to clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Assist in the preparation of Variation Orders (VOs), Extension of Time (EOT) submissions and other contractual documents.
- Review contract documents, specifications and technical drawings.
- Coordinate with project teams on contract-related matters and submissions.
- Maintain proper records of contractual documents and correspondence.
- Monitor contractual deadlines and follow up on outstanding issues.
- Travel to project sites when required to support project and contractual matters.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in the construction or M&E industry.
- Prior experience as an Electrical Engineer will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of contract administration, VO and EOT processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and contract documents.
- Good written communication and documentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Candidates with more years of relevant experience may be considered for senior positions.
