Habitat Health | Junior Paralegal/Contracts Manager

Position: Junior Paralegal/Contracts Manager
Core Responsibilities & Expectations for the Role
- Support implementation of a Contract Management System, including developing and refining workflows that will serve to streamline our contracting processes from intake through review, approval, execution, and inventorying
- Manage contract review and Performance. Assist with processing standard form agreements such as NDAs, short-term consulting agreements, and BAAs and ensure all post-execution obligations (e.g. reporting, renewal dates) are tracked.
- Corporate Entity Management. Oversee and manage corporate records of each legal entity, including formation documents and applicable state licenses and qualifications. Monitor upcoming due dates and file periodic reports with Secretary of State offices (or equivalent).
- Support Board Operations. Assist with managing communications to Board members, including transmitting Board materials, securing signatures for Board resolutions, and ensuring accurate records.
- General Paralegal Support. Track and renew and facility licenses and permits and ensure appropriate exclusion screening for vendors and contractors.
- Project Support. Provide project management and administrative support for ongoing projects such state expansion initiatives.
- Collaboration and Communication. Develop and maintain relationships with all levels of management and staff across various departments, particularly forging strong partnerships with the compliance and finance teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a paralegal/contract manager.
- Strong ability and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and other legal contract management software
- Must be able to demonstrate timely, appropriate, and professional communication internally within the Legal Team and other departments, and externally with external counsel and other third parties
- Excellent analytical, organizational, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and credibility across the business.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Curious and creative mindset that is not intimidated by developing new processes.

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $67,000-$90,000. This position is also eligible for a target annual bonus of 10% and may be eligible for additional incentive compensation, as applicable. The final compensation offered will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, education, certifications, geographical location, and business needs.

At-Will Employment
Employment with Habitat Health is at-will.
