Ignite Digital Services is seeking a Contracts / Service Procurement Request Specialist to support Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic with the Family of Integrated Targeting and Exploitation (FITE) program. This position will provide hands-on acquisition, procurement, and contract support to government program leads, project teams, and business operations stakeholders responsible for planning and executing service requirements.
The successful candidate will support the development, coordination, review, and routing of service procurement request packages, contract documentation, funding actions, and related acquisition materials. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can work across technical, financial, contracting, and program management stakeholders to ensure procurement actions are accurate, complete, compliant, and submitted on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Support the development, coordination, and routing of service Procurement Request packages in accordance with NIWC LANT, Navy, and DoW
- Assist government stakeholders with preparing procurement-related documentation, including Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, Independent Government Cost Estimates, Market Research Reports, Justification and Approval documentation, and other related acquisition package materials
- Coordinate with program managers, project leads, business financial managers, contracting personnel, and other stakeholders to collect required inputs and resolve package deficiencies
- Track procurement package status, action items, comments, routing, and key milestone dates to support timely submission and execution
- Review acquisition and procurement documents for completeness, consistency, formatting, accuracy, and alignment with applicable requirements
- Support contract administration activities, including preparation and tracking of Procurement Requests, modification requests, Technical Direction Letters or Technical Instructions, funding actions, and deliverable status
- Support recurring meetings, working sessions, and reviews related to contract planning, service requirement development, funding alignment, and procurement execution
- Assist with coordination of acquisition planning activities, including recompete planning, new requirement development, contract modifications, incremental funding actions, and follow-on contract support
- Provide professional communication and coordination support across government and contractor teams to keep procurement actions moving through the acquisition lifecycle
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, acquisition, contracting, public administration, or a related field
- Four or more years of professional experience supporting government acquisition, contracts, procurement, program management, or business operations
- Experience developing, coordinating, or reviewing procurement request packages, service contract documentation, acquisition packages, or related contracting support materials
- Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, DoD acquisition processes, Navy procurement processes, or federal service contracting requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
- Active Secret clearance or higher.
Desired Qualifications
- Direct experience supporting NIWC LANT, Navy acquisition programs, or service contract procurement actions
- Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple procurement actions at different stages of development
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced program environment with competing priorities and evolving requirements
- Able to translate program and technical inputs into clear, complete, and procurement-ready documentation
- Collaborative, professional, and capable of working effectively with government leads, contracting personnel, financial managers, and project teams
Location: Charleston, SC
Schedule: hybrid 2-3 days a week onsite
Salary: 98k+ to align with experience and education
