• Deliver high quality analytics, from data quality assessment, data manipulation, method selection, design & application, insights generation and visualisation
• Strong ability to perform data exploration / investigation and write / test efficient code for data transformations
• Able to communicate and translate business needs against analytics solutions or outcomes
• Intensive learning and acquisition of key analytical, technical and commercial skills and Quantium business knowledge to become a proficient Data Scientist working under minimal supervision
• Often in collaboration with your internal stakeholders, you will transform client questions and problems into analytical solutions

The superpowers you’ll be bringing to the team:

• Approximately 2+ years’ experience in a highly technical analytics environment, carrying out data analytics or data science work
• Strong coding experience in SQL or Python or R
• Experience in working with large datasets to solving commercial business problems (customer-level and/or sales transaction-level datasets preferred)
• Experience in FMCG/CPG or Retail industry (preferred)
• Experience working with version control software such as GIT
• Knowledge of technical analytics discipline, including data preparation and foundational analytics concepts
• Experience with successfully managing both internal and external stakeholders, delivering against projects, tasks and activities in a dynamic deadline driven environment
• Experience working with other Data Scientists would be preferred. A lot of the work we do is part of the larger solution, so being able to work with considerations for the team is important
• Tertiary qualifications in engineering, mathematics, actuarial studies, statistics, physics, or a related discipline
