Convenience Store Cashier

SUMMARY:

The Convenience Store Cashier will assist customers in finalizing food and gas purchases at the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel Convenience Store Station.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive cash, gift card, or charge payments for products purchased and issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customer.
• Describe product features, pricing, and new products to customers.
• Refill products and ensure products are displayed appropriately.
• Ensure store, restrooms, back stockrooms, pumps, and other outside areas are kept clean and organized by performing cleaning tasks as needed. This includes emptying all garbage cans, sweeping, and mopping.
• Notify supervisor of needed products for restocking.
• Cash ticket vouchers per customers’ requests.
• Take and prepare special orders from customers.
• Fold and prepare boxes for recycling.
• Bag, box, or wrap merchandise.
• Resolve customer's complaints.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.
