The Role

We're looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Supporting our experienced Conveyancing Case Handlers, you'll play a key role in progressing residential property transactions while delivering an excellent experience for our clients.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with conveyancing administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to continue building a career in property law.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting Conveyancing Case Handlers with the administration of residential property transactions.
  • Communicating with clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties to keep cases moving.
  • Completing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks and preparing conveyancing documentation.
  • Managing task lists and ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.
  • Updating our case management system with key dates and case information.
  • Preparing files for exchange, completion and closure.
  • Delivering a high standard of customer service throughout the transaction.
  • About You

    We're looking for someone who is:

    • Experienced in a front facing conveyancing support or legal administration role.
    • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
    • A confident communicator with excellent customer service skills.
    • Comfortable using case management systems (we use Redbrick) and Microsoft Office.
    • Passionate about delivering a great client experience.
    • A legal qualification, or an interest in studying towards one (such as CILEX, CLC or an LLB), would be an advantage but isn't essential.
