Overview:
The Cook 2 is responsible for the daily operations of a designated station, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented according to the hotel’s high standards. This role requires efficiency and a "Guest-First" approach to ensure a consistent experience for all in-house guests. Within our upscale lifestyle hotel, this position focuses on maintaining station mastery and operational consistency, ensuring all menu items are prepared to exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Station Operations:
- Set up, maintain, and break down assigned stations daily while ensuring Hilton brand standards are consistently met.
- Prepare and cook menu items to order following standardized recipes and portion controls.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of the station, addressing spills and stains promptly.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Maintain a valid Utah Food Handler Permit.
- Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and brand service standards.
- General Duties:
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately.
