Support the Military's Quality of Life programs! The Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) department of Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) provides fitness, recreation, lodging and food and beverage programs for service members, their families, retired military and civilian employees. This position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Food and Beverage; Fleet Readiness; Commander, Navy Installations command (CNIC); Naval Station Everett - All American Restaurant.
Performs a variety of tasks such as grilling or frying various food items are, cooking, turning as required; regulation temperature and removing when done. Measures and weighs ingredients according to recipes or as directed in the preparation of salads, desserts, juices, fruit trays, etc. Prepares toast, salads, salad dressing, and sandwiches. Prepares vegetables and fruits for serving according to instructions and / or recipes. Place cooked food in serving dishes in steam carts and food trucks. Washes and cleans kitchen equipment and work area. Keep refrigerators, grills, equipment and working area clean. May be required to collect money, operate a cash register and prepare necessary documentation for cash funds accountability. May assist in inventory taking. Performs other related duties as assigned.
