Cook (Vegetarian Cuisine)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook vegetarian meals according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Assist with food preparation, portioning, and plating
- Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
- Monitor inventory and assist with stock rotation
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Superior from time to time
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar kitchen role preferred
- Knowledge of vegetarian cuisine and ingredients is an advantage
- Able to perform spilt shift, work on weekends and public holidays
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods
- Passion for food and willingness to learn
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
