Cook (Vegetarian Cuisine)

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook vegetarian meals according to recipes and restaurant standards
  • Assist with food preparation, portioning, and plating
  • Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
  • Monitor inventory and assist with stock rotation
  • Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Superior from time to time

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar kitchen role preferred
  • Knowledge of vegetarian cuisine and ingredients is an advantage
  • Able to perform spilt shift, work on weekends and public holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods
  • Passion for food and willingness to learn
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
