Corporate Accounting Manager
Imperial is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to lead corporate accounting for Imperial, Pukka, and Winston Collection under the Paramount Brands umbrella. This role owns accounts payable, fixed assets and treasury, working with the Director of Accounting on policies and controls as well as external audit relationships, while partnering closely with the Controller and cross-functional leaders across the portfolio. This is a combination of building something new and optimizing what already exists, taking the corporate accounting function to its next stage of maturity.

What You'll Be Doing
- Serve as the corporate accounting backbone supporting Imperial, Pukka, and Winston Collection, with dotted-line oversight and coordination across all three operating brands
- Manage daily accounting functions and lead the accounting team responsible for accounts payable, treasury, fixed assets, travel & expense, lease accounting, and general accounting processes
- Own the fixed assets function across the portfolio, managing the team member who performs day-to-day fixed asset work while retaining accountability for accuracy and controls
- Lead timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring transactions are properly recorded in the general ledger
- Prepare and review financial statements and account reconciliations in accordance with accounting regulations and corporate guidelines
- Serve as a liaison for external audits and oversee SG&A accounting and reporting
- Develop, document, and enforce accounting policies and internal controls across Imperial, Pukka, and Winston Collection
- Manage information requests for corporate financial reporting, corporate tax, and internal and external audits
- Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members
- Drive continuous improvement, including participation in Lean initiatives and Kaizen events
- Other duties and special assignments, as assigned
What We Need
- Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience; CPA preferred
- 6+ years of accounting and/or finance experience, including 4+ years in a manufacturing environment (low-volume, high-mix product portfolio preferred)
- Experience with an ERP system; NetSuite experience strongly preferred
- Expert Excel user with a strong understanding of databases, queries, and reports
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects with little to no supervision
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a proven ability to develop personnel
- Strong collaborator who can build relationships with cross-functional business partners and senior leadership
- Prior experience transforming or rebuilding an accounting function is a plus
- Career-minded professional looking to grow long-term, with potential to progress toward a Controller-level role
- Ability to travel periodically depending on business need, including periodic travel to Bourbon and Pukka
- Ability to work out of our Bourbon Location during onboarding
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time while working at a computer or workstation
- Ability to use hands and fingers to operate standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and keyboards
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and via electronic communication
- Occasional ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to move throughout the facility, including walking, bending, and reaching as needed
- Visual acuity sufficient to read screens, documents, and reports
