Corporate QA/QC Engineer
(A) Job Summary:
The Corporate QA/QC Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company's Quality Management System (QMS) across multiple construction projects. The role provides technical guidance and quality support to project teams, conducts audits and training, and ensures compliance with company standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
(B) Essential Job Functions:
The Corporate QAQC Engineer is responsible, but not limited to, the following:
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company's QA/QC policies, procedures, and Quality Management System (QMS).
- Monitor and support QA/QC activities across multiple building and construction projects.
- Conduct internal quality audits, site inspections, and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Review project quality plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality documentation.
- Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide technical guidance and quality support to project QA/QC personnel and site teams.
- Conduct quality-related training, workshops, and awareness programs for staff and project teams.
- Monitor project quality performance and prepare management reports on quality trends and improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities on quality-related matters.
- Promote best practices and standardization of QA/QC processes across the organization.
- Any ad-hoc task assigned by the reporting manager.
(C) Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 5–8 years of QA/QC experience in building construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, construction standards, and QA/QC procedures.
