Corporate QHSE Leader
An established Singapore-based organisation is seeking an experienced An established Singapore-based organisation is seeking an experienced Corporate QHSE Leader to join the business in a newly created leadership capacity.
Reporting directly to senior leadership, this role will provide strategic and operational oversight of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) functions across multiple business units and operational teams. The successful candidate will act as a key link between operational stakeholders and executive leadership, ensuring consistent governance, compliance, risk management and execution of QHSE standards across the organisation.
This is a leadership position focused on operational excellence, governance, compliance and stakeholder engagement. The organisation is seeking an experienced practitioner who can drive consistency, accountability and strong safety performance while supporting ongoing business operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee QHSE activities across multiple operational teams and business functions
• Ensure consistent implementation and adherence to QHSE policies, procedures and standards
• Promote and strengthen a positive safety and compliance culture throughout the organisation
• Provide leadership, guidance and support to QHSE personnel and operational stakeholders
• Act as the primary interface between operational teams and senior leadership on QHSE matters
• Monitor organisational compliance with relevant regulatory, governance and internal requirements
• Support risk management, incident management, reporting and continuous improvement activities
• Drive accountability and operational execution of established QHSE frameworks and programmes
• Prepare and present QHSE reporting, recommendations and updates to leadership teams
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of organisational safety and compliance initiatives
Requirements
• Extensive experience in QHSE leadership roles within the Shipyard Environment
• Strong understanding of safety governance, compliance and risk management principles
• Experience leading and supporting QHSE teams across multiple business functions, sites or projects
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across both operational and leadership levels
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Hands-on and pragmatic approach with the ability to balance strategic oversight and operational execution
• Experience operating within complex, multi-stakeholder environments
Preferred Background
• Degree or professional qualifications in Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience within operational, industrial, engineering, infrastructure, logistics, manufacturing or project-based environments would be advantageous
• Prior leadership experience overseeing organisational QHSE programmes and teams
