Location: 402 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, MA
Hours/week: 40 hours per week
Exemption: Non-exempt
Pay Range: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
*starting pay varies depending on experience and qualifications*
The Ministry Associate will serve as support to the Corps Officer with the responsibility to assist in the overall leadership of programs, events, and activities at the Cambridge Corps. This ministry requires a commitment to love young people and to lead them in spiritual growth

Duties & Responsibilities:
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Work Experience:
- Prior work/volunteering experience with Salvation Army programming preferred
- Prior work/volunteering experience with children in a recreational and/or educational setting
- Supervisory experience is preferred
Other Qualifications:
- Must have strong communication; able to interact with people of all ages and backgrounds
- Must be responsible, accountable, respectful, positive role model
- Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive a 12-Passenger van
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Ability to read and write effectively in English; follow written instructions, adhere to policy and procedure of The Salvation Army
- Ability to maintain the highest standard of professionalism and confidentiality
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not a requirement
- Must attend the Corps on Sundays
- Soldier (member of The Salvation Army Church) or willing to become a Soldier, preferred
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Must uphold Biblical standards in personal and professional life
