Job Description\:
You will be a key member of the cost performance team, who provide a high-quality FP&A service encompassing monthly deliverables, accurate forecasts, and providing insight so that stakeholders have the information required for effective decision-making.
You will support the Digital Intelligence business by ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of insights to cost base to the respective leadership teams as well as senior finance stakeholders across the business. You will establish yourself as a trusted and effective key point of contact for key stakeholders. You will be at the forefront of discussions with varied stakeholders, to ensure that appropriate financial governance is maintained, whilst providing agile support to the business.
Core duties\:
- You will work with the Finance ERP team as well as our delivery partner to help deliver the best possible system and standardised processes for Cost Performance & Payroll.
- You will work with the Cost Performance and Operational finance teams to design standardised processes across the organisation and ensure these take SAP best practice into account.
- You will work with the UK wide Cost Performance team to drive best reporting practices and implementation of SAC toolset to help deliver market leading cost performance reporting and forecasting
- You will work with and support the cost performance team to identify process improvements to increase efficiency wherever possible.
- You will support the ongoing development of the Cost Performance Team based in Malaysia and the UK to improve efficiency, delivery and alignment with Finance Modernisation to transition activities and responsibilities
- You will drive the business to improve profitability through an understanding of the cost drivers and levers associated with tools and services needed to fulfil business demand
Essential Skills\:
- Qualified or part-qualified member professional accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel
- Recognises best practice in finance processes, you will demonstrate this through being able to articulate these processes with key stakeholders across all functions and build trusted relationships
- You will have previous experience of using SAP (SME or Super user would be beneficial)
The Cost Performance Team\:
This is an opportunity for you to join an exciting transformation project for the Cost Performance Module, where you can play a key role in both testing and deployment of the new Cost Performance build. You will gain exposure to a range of stakeholders including payroll & financial operations to help achieve the desired design.
