Job\nPurpose<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

To provide counselling,\npsychosocial support, behavioural intervention, and rehabilitation services to\nchildren and adolescents with developmental disabilities, learning\ndifficulties, behavioural challenges, and psychosocial concerns within Shradhanjali\nIntegrated School (SIS) and rehabilitation programmes. The Counsellor will work\nclosely with beneficiaries, families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to\nenhance emotional well\-being, participation, inclusion, and overall quality of\nlife through evidence\-based and family\-centred interventions.<\/span>

Key\nRoles & Responsibilities<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

1.\nCounselling & Rehabilitation Services<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

  • Conduct\n psychosocial, behavioural, and functional assessments of beneficiaries.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Provide\n individual and group counselling services for children, adolescents, and\n caregivers.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Develop\n individualized intervention plans based on assessment findings and\n rehabilitation goals.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Implement\n behavioural and psychosocial interventions to improve emotional\n regulation, adaptive behaviour, participation, and social functioning.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Support\n beneficiaries with behavioural, emotional, educational, and social\n challenges.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Conduct\n classroom observations and provide recommendations to support school\n inclusion.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Participate\n in multidisciplinary case discussions and rehabilitation planning.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Manage\n assigned caseloads and ensure timely follow\-up of beneficiaries.<\/span>

    2.\nCaregiver Support & Capacity Building<\/span><\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Conduct\n parent and caregiver counselling sessions.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Provide\n guidance on behaviour management, emotional support, home\-based\n strategies, and developmental needs.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Facilitate\n parent support groups and caregiver education programmes.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Conduct\n awareness and sensitization sessions for families, schools, and community\n stakeholders.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Support\n families in accessing appropriate rehabilitation and support services.<\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>

      3.\nSchool Inclusion & Community\-Based Services<\/span><\/b>
      <\/p>

      • Coordinate\n with schools to support inclusive education and participation of children\n with disabilities.<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Conduct\n school visits and collaborate with teachers regarding behavioural and\n learning support strategies.<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Participate\n in community outreach programmes, awareness campaigns, screening camps,\n and inclusion initiatives.<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Support\n referral and follow\-up mechanisms between schools, families, and\n rehabilitation services.<\/span>
        <\/li><\/ul>

        4.\nDocumentation, Reporting & Compliance<\/span><\/b>
        <\/p>

        • Maintain\n accurate, complete, and confidential beneficiary records.<\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Ensure\n timely documentation of assessments, intervention plans, counselling\n sessions, progress notes, and follow\-up reports.<\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Update\n beneficiary information in organizational databases and digital systems.<\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Prepare\n weekly, monthly, and annual reports on service delivery and beneficiary\n outcomes.<\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Ensure\n compliance with departmental SOPs, quality standards, and audit\n requirements.<\/span>

          5.\nMonitoring & Outcome Tracking<\/span><\/b>
          <\/p>

          • Monitor\n beneficiary progress against intervention goals.<\/span>
            <\/li>
          • Conduct\n periodic reviews and reassessments.<\/span>
            <\/li>
          • Maintain\n caseload tracking systems and follow\-up schedules.<\/span>
            <\/li>
          • Support\n data collection, analysis, and reporting for programme monitoring and\n evaluation.<\/span>
            <\/li>
          • Contribute\n to documentation of beneficiary outcomes and success stories.<\/span>

                  • Master\u2019s\n degree in psychology, Counselling Psychology, Rehabilitation Psychology,\n Social Work, or related field.<\/span>

                  • Knowledge\n of developmental disabilities, child development, and counselling\n approaches.<\/span>
                    <\/li><\/ul>

                    Preferred<\/span><\/b>
                    <\/p>

                    • 1\u20133\n years of experience in counselling, rehabilitation, disability services,\n school\-based interventions, or child development programmes.<\/span>
                      <\/li>
                    • Experience\n working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Learning\n Disabilities (LD), Intellectual Disabilities (ID), and behavioural\n concerns.<\/span>
                      <\/li>
                    • Experience\n in caregiver counselling and community\-based rehabilitation settings.<\/span>
