Counselor
Position Overview<\/span><\/b> Mercy House Adult & Teen Challenge is seeking an\nexperienced, licensed mental health professional to establish, lead, and grow\nour counseling department.<\/span><\/span> This newly created leadership position will initially focus\non developing counseling services for our 90\-bed men's residential recovery\ncampus while creating the framework for future expansion into our growing\nwomen's recovery program.<\/span><\/span> The ideal candidate is not simply looking for a counseling\nposition but is excited by the opportunity to build, lead, and expand a\ncounseling department that will serve men, women, and families across our\nrecovery ministry for years to come.<\/span><\/span> The Director of Counseling will provide direct counseling\nservices, establish clinical standards and systems, supervise counseling\ninterns and practicum students, develop university partnerships, and help\ncreate a sustainable counseling model that supports long\-term recovery,\nemotional wellness, family restoration, and personal transformation.<\/span><\/span> This role offers a unique opportunity to combine\nprofessional clinical excellence with meaningful ministry while helping shape\nthe future of one of Mississippi's leading faith\-based residential recovery\nprograms.<\/span><\/span> Ideal Candidate Profile<\/span><\/b> We are seeking a seasoned clinician and leader who is\npassionate about helping individuals and families experience lasting\ntransformation.<\/span><\/span> The ideal candidate will possess the clinical expertise to\nprovide high\-quality counseling services while also having the leadership\nability to develop systems, supervise interns, mentor future counselors, and\nbuild a counseling department capable of serving Mercy House for years to come.<\/span><\/span> This position is best suited for an experienced LPC\-S,\nLCSW, LMFT, Psychologist, or similar licensed professional who desires to\ncombine professional excellence with meaningful ministry and long\-term\norganizational impact.<\/span><\/span> Compensation<\/span><\/span><\/b> $100,000+ annually, commensurate with experience,\nqualifications, licensure, and demonstrated leadership ability.<\/span><\/span><\/b> Relocation assistance may be considered for highly\nqualified candidates.<\/span><\/span> Employment Structure<\/span><\/span><\/b> Benefits (Full\-Time)<\/span><\/span><\/b>
