Count Room Clerk-Part-Time(Bettendorf)
The Count Team Member counts monies from bill validators (slot machines), all Table Game boxes, and non-gaming retail areas.
- Transfers carts to and from the Count Room and sets Bill Validator Boxes in the appropriate slot machines.
- Performs the Bill Validator collection process.
- Collection, sorting, and accounting of various monies for multiple departments.
- Performs minor repairs and maintenance of Count Room equipment.
- Notifies Count Room Supervisor of malfunctioning equipment.
- Adheres to safety, security, regulatory, departmental and company policies.
- Cooperative while working with employees within the department, as well as other departments.
- Maintains Count Room in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Able to provide superior guest service and capability to deal with difficult interactions

- Must be able to retain a class “C” gaming license from the state of Iowa
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Excel
- Must possess basic math skills
- Basic mechanical (repair) skills helpful and preferred
- Must be flexible and able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to communicate in a friendly and respectable manner
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team
Must present a well-groomed appearance

- Must be able to respond calmly in crisis and stressful situations.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises and bright light.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, twist and grip items as necessary.
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
