Role Overview

The Country Manager Finland is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and development of AVIAREPS Finland. The role covers full responsibility for sales, operations, financial oversight, and team management, ensuring sustainable growth and high-quality service delivery across all business lines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business & Commercial Leadership

  • Drive revenue growth and profitability for the Finland market
  • Lead sales and marketing strategies for airline and tourism clients
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships
  • Ensure strong market presence and competitive positioning

2. Client & Partner Management

  • Manage relationships with airline clients, tourism boards, and partners
  • Lead contract negotiations and renewals
  • Ensure high standards in client service and delivery
  • Support major proposals, tenders, and strategic initiatives

3. Operations & Service Delivery

  • Oversee daily business operations in Finland
  • Ensure efficient execution of:
    • Sales activities
    • Marketing campaigns
    • Customer service processes
  • Monitor quality control and service standards

4. Financial Oversight

  • Manage local budgets, cost control, and profitability
  • Oversee:
    • Local expenses and invoices
    • Vendor relationships
    • Financial compliance (in coordination with Nordic finance)
  • Support forecasting and reporting to management

5. Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Finland team
  • Direct line management of:
    • Sales Manager(s)
    • Sales Executive(s)
  • Set clear targets, monitor performance, and support development
  • Ensure strong team engagement and collaboration

6. Strategic & Nordic Collaboration

  • Work closely with Nordic management and shared functions
  • Align with regional strategy and global priorities
  • Participate in Nordic management meetings and reporting
  • Support cross-country initiatives and best practice sharing

7. Market & Industry Expertise

  • Maintain strong knowledge of:
    • Aviation and travel industry trends
    • Local Finland market dynamics
  • Provide insights to support strategic decision-making
