Country Manager / Regional Manager
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Country Manager / Regional Manager based in South Africa.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving commercial growth and market expansion across multiple international regions, including LATAM, Africa, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. The position combines strategic planning, sales leadership, and operational oversight in the FX and CFDs industry. You will play a central role in defining regional go-to-market strategies, building strong client and partner relationships, and ensuring consistent revenue growth across diverse and fast-moving markets. Working in a fully remote setup, you will collaborate closely with global teams while adapting strategies to local regulatory and cultural environments. The role requires strong leadership, deep market understanding, and the ability to manage complex multi-country operations. It is ideal for a results-driven professional who thrives in dynamic, competitive financial markets and is comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive growth, market expansion, and profitability across the assigned region or country.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient execution aligned with internal policies and corporate standards.
- Ensure full compliance with local regulatory frameworks, maintaining strong relationships with relevant authorities.
- Lead, manage, and develop local teams, fostering a high-performance culture with clear accountability and continuous development.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to execute client acquisition strategies and accelerate revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to support long-term business success.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA is a strong advantage).
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Sales and Business Development within the FX/CFDs or broader financial trading industry.
- At least 3 years in a senior management or leadership role with proven operational responsibility.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, regulatory environments, and regional market dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, sales leadership, and operational management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and adaptability in fast-changing environments.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and data-driven decision-making tools.
