Country Marketing Executive (Rakuten Travel)(Based In Korea)
Job Description:

The platform serves both leisure and business travelers and supports customers in multiple languages worldwide.
We are seeking a passionate and proactive Country Marketing Executive to support Rakuten Travel’s growth and brand presence in Korea. This role is responsible for executing localized marketing strategies, driving impactful campaigns, and enhancing brand awareness and customer engagement in the Korean market.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement market-relevant campaigns, manage social media channels, coordinate media partnerships and events, and contribute to building a strong and consistent brand voice. Responsibilities:
Develop content and social strategies to drive brand awareness and engagement
Manage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Naver, Kakao) with strong content strategy and data analysis
Own activation strategies across paid media channels
Monitor market trends, competition, and landscape; provide insights and best practices
Use customer insights and seasonal data from internal and external tools
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and coordinate with HQ teams to deliver projects on time
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred)
Minimum 3 years of marketing experience, including content and performance marketing in digital media
Fluency in Korean and English (spoken and written)
Strong understanding of Korea market landscape and consumer behaviour
Digitally savvy with strong analytical and administrative skills
Fast learner, curious, and a team player
Startup mindset: collaborative, entrepreneurial, and able to work independently when needed
OTA industry experience is a plus
Familiarity with tools such as Photoshop, Canva, and Figma is a plus
