Creative Writer

Role Description

The Creative Writer role at Jorrel Management is a full-time position based in Ikeja with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing a combination of on-site presence and work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the Creative Writer will develop engaging written content for web pages, marketing campaigns, social media, and other communication channels that support client growth objectives. Day-to-day tasks include generating creative concepts, drafting and refining copy, conducting research to inform content, and collaborating with marketing and business development teams to align messaging with strategic goals. The Creative Writer will also adapt tone and style for different audiences, proofread and revise materials, and contribute ideas to improve content performance and brand storytelling.

Qualifications

* Strong Writing and Creative Writing skills to produce clear, compelling, and original content across multiple formats.
* Proficiency in Web Content Writing with the ability to create audience-focused, platform-appropriate content for websites and digital channels.
* Effective Communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present ideas clearly.
* Solid Research skills to gather accurate information, understand target markets, and support credible, well-informed content.
* Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and respond constructively to feedback.
* Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, SEO basics, and content performance metrics is an advantage.
* Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
* Prior experience in a creative, marketing, or content-focused role is preferred but not strictly required.
