Credit Analysis Servicing Specialist

The Credit Analysis Servicing Specialist reviews and tracks specific credit documentation for new and existing loans. This position verifies required documents are received and ensures all bank policy or regulatory compliance requirements are met. The Credit Analysis Servicing Specialist ensures items are correctly uploaded into files for proper tracking and as deemed appropriate, validates the accuracy of calculations, and updates records for tracking and reporting as to status of items. The position follows up as appropriate to obtain and refresh missing or required documents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Review post-closing loan files for certain credit-related documentation and record the results in the bank internal tracking system ensuring required documents are received completed with required information and the documentation is properly uploaded and stored within the proper electronic credit or other files.

2. Analyze the documentation provided by the borrower for adherence to the bank credit and underwriting policies and record the results in the bank's internal tracking system.

3. Ensure continued compliance with the bank’s credit, underwriting, and loan policies through follow-up credit documentation.

4. Provide assistance to Credit Analysts or Lenders as appropriate in monitoring compliance with customers' loan agreement.

5. Work with Credit Analyst as needed to ensure receipt and accurate tracking of the customers' borrowing base certificate for assets such as accounts receivable, inventory, and marketable securities.

6. Perform all necessary actions to update the tracking process for borrowing base certificates, financial ratio covenants, and annual review.

7. Respond to phone or e-mail requests and inquiries promptly and professionally as part of performing duties outlined within this job description.

8. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. This duty is performed as needed.

9. Complete required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned. This duty is performed as needed.

10. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting, computer, etc. Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, and 0 - 6 months related experience and/or training.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and understand general business/company related articles and professional journals; Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals; Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to read, analyze, and understand common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents; Ability to respond to complex or difficult inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats.
