Credit Analyst - Corporate Banking
Job Summary
Join our banking client as a Credit Analyst to assess corporate creditworthiness, prepare detailed credit reports, monitor portfolio quality, and contribute to credit risk management strategies within the Credit Department.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed credit assessments on corporate clients and financing proposals by analyzing credit ratings, credit limits, financial and non-financial data, and financing structures including terms, covenants, and conditions
- Prepare clear, accurate, and comprehensive credit review reports for presentation to credit approval committees
- Monitor ongoing credit exposures by performing periodic portfolio reviews, identifying early warning signs, and recommending effective risk-mitigation strategies to maintain portfolio quality
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to communicate credit findings and support credit decision-making processes
- Support department initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Department
- Work independently and contribute effectively within a team environment to achieve department objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accountancy, or a related discipline with strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in credit risk assessment within a regional or global financial institution
