Employees assigned to this classification must work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Performs supervisory and skilled work involving the maintenance of grounds, flowers and plants, streetscape furnishings, trash removal along assigned routes, and/or general maintenance of downtown public spaces. Supervises a small crew of employees that perform unskilled and semi-skilled tasks involving above-average physical effort, and operation of power tools and equipment requiring some manipulative skills and the ability to work without frequent supervision. Performs assessments of right-of-way conditions and needed repairs and maintains associated paperwork. Work may be performed in inclement weather and under moderate supervision and is reviewed while in progress and upon completion through direct observation, meetings, and review of work orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
WORK SCHEDULE: Shift hours: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 10:30 PM to 7:30 AM. Workdays are subject to change based on division needs. Required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and two (2) years experience organizing teams, one (1) of which must have been in a lead or supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License required.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
