Responsibilities
Strategy
Formulates, (after approval) implements and monitors operational plan for own security area. Provides input to departmental strategy.
Ensures understanding of ASML's Security Strategy and aligns team targets and activities.
Ensures optimal communication (regarding the strategic plan) towards stakeholders.
Contributes to setting team targets.
Policies & Standards
Responsible to translate policy to specific procedures and execution of Security related activities at tactical and strategic level.
Constantly assesses Security policies, standards and guidelines for continuous improvement.
Contributes to the policy development within own Security expertise.
Alignment & knowledge sharing
Organizes and drives the constant build-up of knowledge within Security.
Shares knowledge and insights pro actively with stakeholders.
Excels at stakeholder management. Leverages sophisticated techniques to map stakeholder relationships and assess their influence and impact.
Tailors approach to different stakeholders' preferences and priorities.
Is effective at managing stakeholder conflicts and resistance, finds creative solutions to address divergent interests, and builds consensus.
Execute on targets
Contributes to the execution of the annual plan activities.
Achieves desired outcomes of Security Road Map and the implementation of policies and standards.
Continuous improvement/Operational excellence
Leads the review of existing operations and the implementation of innovation processes across the business to ensure the required continuous improvement outcomes are delivered. Aligns with process owner on implications of improvements for the roadmap
Drives changes according to the organization standard means and methods.
Performance Management
Develops and proposes own performance objectives.
Takes appropriate action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team / personal objectives.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
