CT / X-Ray Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and general diagnostic X-ray procedures
- Assist with surgical imaging, including C-Arm procedures
- Prepare and position patients while clearly explaining procedures
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and imaging quality
- Recognize and respond to patient conditions during procedures
- Maintain imaging equipment quality control standards
- Accurately document imaging in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Ensure timely availability of studies for physician interpretation
- Follow all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines
- Support quality improvement initiatives and department training
- Collaborate with providers and care teams to support patient flow
What We’re Looking For
- ARRT registered or registry-eligible required
- Michigan licensure as required
- CT experience preferred but not required—training available
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a clinical setting
- Basic EMR and computer proficiency preferred
