Customer Engineer, Cloud and AI, Google Cloud (English, Korean)

About

As a Platform Customer Engineer (CE), you will partner with technical Sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud to the customers. You will serve as the customer's primary technical partner and trusted advisor, engaging in technical-led conversations to understand their business challenges. Responsibilities

• Develop and own the technical account plan and strategy, participate in planning and supporting targeted sales motions.
• Combine sales, programming, and solutions architecture expertise to prove the value of Google Cloud Platform across the portfolio through complex demos, pilots and in-depth workshops.
• Architect cross-pillar solutions, drive technical wins, and define initial delivery plans for customers, continue to lead the technical engagement in the solution phase.
• Maintain awareness of the holistic enterprise architecture progress, provide support and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Work directly with customers to demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations in customer/partner environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
• Experience engaging with, or presenting to, technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
• Experience in programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops.
• Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions with local stakeholders.

Preferred

• Experience driving the entire sales cycle (e.g., defining the delivery and consumption plan and transitioning it for execution).
• Experience in enterprise technology buying and evaluation process paired with an understanding of large-scale computing solutions and experience in building, architecting, designing and implementing distributed global cloud-based systems.
• Expertise in AI/ML, GenAI, and Cloud environments.
• Knowledge of technology solutions with the ability to learn and work quickly with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions.
• Ability to deliver results and work cross-functionally to develop solutions for customers.
