Customer Service Rep-Customer Service-PRN-Varies

Responsibilities

Operates entire surgery waiting area which includes answering the phones, greeting the public, insuring productive patient flow, connecting callers with other extensions, giving directions to requested areas, initiates/receives/relays calls and messages, records/documents/controls patient information, using the hospital computer system, filing and updating general information, communicates and interfaces with hospital personnel, medical staff and establishes a positive and pleasant contact with the public by communicating precise information to patients, families and visitors.

Qualifications

Education: -A high school diploma or GED

Experience: One to two years of office experience, preferably in a medical setting, is preferred.
