Customer Service Representative
Job Summary
Primarily responsible for providing effective client service for all internal and external clients, by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products as well as team members within the Group. Must partner with the financial advisors to provide clients with service as outlined in the Company’s policies and procedures, address clients’ issues and ensure effective and long-term problem resolution.
Primary Responsibilities
- Markets our Groups products and services to clients
- Processes applications for all new and renewal lines of business
- Processes all data entry for all MARGEN lines of business
- Collects requests and documents required for processing policy loans, surrenders, refunds, dividends maturing policies, All claims and other such requests
- Partners with the financial advisors to meet and exceed the client’s service expectations
- Processes all cash transactions for the Group
- Ensures that each transaction is fully completed to the client’s satisfaction
- Telephone services - handling queries, relaying messages to Financial Advisors, Team Members and Branch Manager
- Contributes to the establishment of teamwork and team spirit
- Practices conservation techniques to ensure retention and continuance of business within the Group
- Completes the daily MARGEN audit
Secondary Responsibilities
- Ensures that all outstanding requirements are submitted for each client’s transaction
- Processes scanning of MARGEN motor business
- Prepares property quotations for Financial Advisors and Clients
- Provides timely feedback to the Company regarding service failures or clients’ concerns
- Assist with projects that may be planned from time to time
- Processes claims for both Life and General
- Processes Life applications
Qualifications
Education
Minimum 5 CSEC passes inclusive of Grade 1 or 2 in Mathematics and English A and
6 CAPE passes (full certificate) or an equivalent diploma or professional certificate.
Experience
Five (5) years experience working in related role/industry
