Job Description: To cut pipe to correct length and properly identify grade, heat, and thickness changes.

Responsibilities:

• Set and maintain correct length at Cut-off.

• Measure lengths of pipe as required.

• Check Cut-off Blades for wear and chips and change when needed.

• Assist Mill on mill roll changes.

• Help set up and maintain Sizing Mill.

• Record production and any delays.

• Make proper heat, grade, and thickness separations.

• Assist in clearing jams at Conveyor and Kickoff Table.

• Change Cut-Off on size changes.

• Fill out maintenance list

• Maintain good cutting edge on pipe.

• Record settings on Cut-Off Machine.

• Use burning equipment as required.

• Other assigned tasks
