Role Purpose

The CX Project Manager is responsible for supporting the day‑to‑day delivery, governance, and execution of Client Experience initiatives.

The role ensures consistent tracking, reporting, and adherence to governance standards, enabling senior delivery leaders to focus on strategic outcomes, roadmap ownership, and stakeholder engagement.

This role is well‑suited to a high‑potential, early‑career candidate who is eager to take ownership, build deep technical delivery expertise, and operate in a fast‑paced, complex environment.

Strong emphasis is placed on hands‑on Jira usage, structured delivery discipline, and the ability to quickly learn and operate within complex backlog environments.

Responsibilities

Delivery Coordination and Governance

  • Support execution of CX initiatives across multiple workstreams
  • Ensure governance standards, and agreed processes are applied consistently
  • Proactively manage follow‑ups and coordination activity to maintain delivery momentum
  • Own end-to-end delivery tracking and enforce strong execution discipline, moving beyond coordination to accountability for outcomes.
  • Quickly build understanding of complex delivery environments and interdependencies across teams

Jira Governance and Tracking

  • Maintain ticket hygiene, status accuracy, and dependency tracking
  • Monitor progress and follow up with owners to drive movement and closure
  • Ensure Jira is a reliable source of delivery and execution data
  • Take a hands‑on, power‑user approach to Jira, owning backlog structure, ticket quality, and workflow discipline
  • Support and actively manage complex, high‑volume backlogs (multiple workstreams, dependencies, competing priorities)
  • Continuously improve how Jira is used to reflect real delivery progress and priorities
  • Build strong working knowledge of how epics, stories, and dependencies connect to delivery outcomes

Reporting, Dashboards, and Action Management

  • Own the creation and maintenance of delivery and governance dashboards
  • Provide clear, up‑to‑date visibility of open actions, risks, dependencies, and overdue items
  • Actively track actions and follow up with owners to ensure timely closure
  • Flag risks, blockers, and slippage early
  • Translate Jira and backlog data into clear, simple insights for non‑technical stakeholders

Project and Delivery Support

  • Maintain project plans, action logs, and RAID items
  • Track execution progress across defined workstreams
  • Support preparation of first‑pass reporting for weekly and leadership forums
  • Develop strong delivery judgment over time (e.g., identifying where work is stuck, mis‑prioritized, or unclear)

Meeting and Execution Support

  • Track actions and follow‑ups from meetings and forums
  • Ensure actions are reflected in dashboards and tracking tools, not just meeting notes
  • Support cadence‑driven delivery and reporting cycles
  • Participate hands-on in delivery activities, ensuring progress is driven—not just tracked.

What This Role Will Do

  • Own day‑to‑day delivery coordination and governance execution
  • Maintain reliable tracking of actions, risks, and dependencies
  • Provide clear, dashboard visibility of execution status
  • Drive follow‑ups to maintain delivery discipline
  • Reduce administrative and tracking burden on program management team
  • Bring structure and clarity to complex backlog environments
  • Accelerate from coordination into active delivery ownership over time

Stakeholder Interaction

  • Regular interaction with Program Manager and CX leadership
  • Ongoing coordination with workstream owners and delivery teams
  • Build credibility quickly by being reliable, responsive, and detail‑oriented in execution follow‑through

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Essential

  • Strong hands‑on experience with Jira (academic, internship, or professional), with clear understanding of how backlogs, tickets, and workflows operate in practice
  • Demonstrated ability to work with structured task tracking or backlog tools in a disciplined way
  • High level of motivation, curiosity, and willingness to learn quickly in a complex environment
  • Evidence of high ownership mindset (e.g., driving follow‑ups, improving processes, taking initiative)
  • Comfortable working with technical or product delivery teams, even without a technical background
  • Demonstrates strong personal authority and confidence to challenge across all levels, prioritising outcomes over hierarchy
  • Exposure to Agile / Scrum environments and backlog refinement practices
  • Experience in delivery coordination, governance, or project support roles (including internships, placements, or early career roles)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience producing delivery reporting and dashboards

Desirable

  • Exposure to client experience, delivery, or transformation initiatives
  • Awareness or exposure to user‑centric delivery, or product development approaches
