Cybersecurity Policy Developer (JD#11146)
Job Summary
We are looking for candidates with cybersecurity governance and policy experience, strong stakeholder management skills, and a solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and compliance requirements
Mandatory Skill-set
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or Infocomm Security;
- 3+ years in cybersecurity, IT governance, audit, or security consulting;
- Knowledge of IM8, NIST, and ISO 27001/27002;
- Experience in policy governance and risk assessment;
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices;
- Exposure to cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and/or DevSecOps;
- Familiarity with network, application, or IoT security;
- CISSP and/or CISA certification preferred;
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Desired Skill-set
- Experience in cybersecurity policy development, governance, risk assessment, compliance, and security frameworks such as IM8, NIST, and ISO 27001/27002.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review ICT security policies, standards, and guidelines;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective cybersecurity governance and compliance;
- Assess policy queries, risk exemptions, and recommend appropriate security controls;
- Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks with operational teams;
- Monitor and report on agencies' security posture and key risk indicators;
- Support security assessments, audits, and cybersecurity projects;
- Address cybersecurity challenges across emerging technologies and digital environments.
