Dance and Recreational Gymnastic Coach
Responsible for delivering engaging, safe, and age-appropriate recreational gymnastics and dance classes. The role focuses on developing basic movement skills, coordination, rhythm, and confidence while creating a positive and enjoyable learning environment for students.
Key Responsibilities:
Coaching & Instruction
- Conduct recreational gymnastics and dance classes for children of various age groups.
- Teach basic dance techniques, rhythm, musicality, coordination, and movement skills.
- Introduce fundamental gymnastics elements, flexibility, balance, and body control.
- Adapt lesson plans to suit different abilities and learning styles.
- Assist the RG Coach when needed.
Programme Delivery
- Follow BPA’s curriculum and lesson plans while maintaining class quality and consistency.
- Assist in planning and preparing class structures, routines, and simple performances.
- Support studio showcases, demonstrations, and internal events.
Student Care & Safety
- Ensure a safe training environment and adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain discipline and positive classroom management.
Communication & Teamwork
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress and class matters.
- Work closely with coaches, instructors, and administrative staff.
- Support enrolment activities, trial classes, and open house events when required.

Administrative & Operational Support
- Take attendance and assist with basic administrative duties related to classes.
- Ensure equipment, music, and training spaces are properly set up and maintained.
- Comply with BPA policies, SOPs, and code of conduct.
