Data & AI Platforms Program Manager
Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Platforms Program Manager (PM) to oversee the onboarding, governance, and operational excellence of Data & AI platform initiatives. This role will work closely with Digital Transformation (DTX) leaders, engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure platform scalability, compliance, and efficient delivery of enterprise initiatives, including GenAI use cases. The ideal candidate will have strong program management skills, a solid understanding of platform ecosystems, and experience in compliance, governance, and cross-functional coordination in complex enterprise environments. Responsibilities Project & Program Management Manage onboarding of new projects onto Data & AI platforms. Partner with DTX leads to plan and track project timelines and deliverables. Collaborate with Engineering Managers to manage JIRA boards across platform teams. Governance, Risk & Compliance Ensure adherence to compliance protocols for Data & AI platform components. Represent the platform team during audits and compliance reviews. Submit, track, and represent GenAI use cases in Responsible AI (RAI) committee reviews. Initiate and drive Enterprise Architecture (EA) reviews and Information Security (Infosec) approvals for platform components and architectures. Ensure proper implementation of controls and governance standards across platforms. Platform Operations & Lifecycle Management Create and maintain Configuration Item (CI) entries for platform components. Keep dependencies and documentation up to date from an enterprise perspective. Ensure timely resolution of service desk requests and operational issues. Manage and communicate platform upgrades, changes, and releases. Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with cross-functional teams to enable initiatives such as cost optimization, cloud/platform migration, and AI enablement. Align with business and technical leads to drive collaboration across distributed teams. Communication & Reporting Provide regular updates to leadership on project progress, risks, and dependencies. Drive transparency and communication related to platform changes and initiatives. Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $127,500 - $221,800. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred). 5–10+ years of experience in program/project management, preferably in Data, AI, or platform engineering environments. Core Skills Strong understanding of Data & AI platforms, cloud ecosystems, and enterprise architecture. Proven experience managing cross-functional programs and complex dependencies. Familiarity with compliance, governance, and audit processes in enterprise environments. Experience with GenAI governance frameworks or Responsible AI processes is a plus. Technical & Tools Expertise Hands-on experience with JIRA or similar project management tools. Understanding of CI/CD, configuration management, and platform lifecycle processes. Exposure to ITSM tools and service desk operations. Soft Skills Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and manage multiple priorities.
