Data Analyst

We are looking to hire someone who can build, define and push the boundaries of games analytics within our apps. Understand, model, predict, segment and retain our players. Analyze the success of each product against each other to prioritize resources and identify opportunities.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Support the game team with developing hypotheses and execute qualitative and quantitative tests to understand what resonates with the target audience.
  • Provide and analyze metrics on the performance of the games and marketing campaigns to optimize the in-game economy and monetization.
  • Write SQL queries and ad-hoc queries for data analysis and player insights.
  • Provide an analytics perspective to discussions and help drive the priorities within your team.
  • Communicate BI insights to relevant stakeholders; send out synopses of company performance to appropriate teams and ensure that action is taken on the data.
  • Extract data from analytics databases; feed results into BI tools; ensure data is live and up to date.
  • Identify/monitor KPIs and flag noteworthy performance.
  • Maintain spreadsheets used for tracking and forecasting the business on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Maintain and constantly improve tools, bring new ideas and use best practices that set industry standards
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
  • Strong knowledge in SQL and dealing with complex data sets.
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or any related field.
  • 2-4 years’ experience preferably in mobile gaming companies.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • Understand the user behavior
  • Understanding the appropriate statistical techniques to use in different circumstances
  • Strong knowledge in SQL and dealing with complex data sets.
  • Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products in the market Experience with metrics driven-decision making
  • Experience doing quantitative analysis or similar (manipulation and analysis of large data sets)
  • Exposure to visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau
  • A solid quantitative background (mathematics, statistics, computer science, etc…) is strongly preferred
