Data Analyst – Strategic Finance

Looking to work on high-impact data problems that influence business and financial decisions? This role sits at the intersection of data analytics, financial insights, and operational strategy, helping teams make faster and better decisions using data.

What you’ll do:

• Analyze large financial and operational datasets to generate actionable insights

• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks for business stakeholders

• Write efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from large data warehouses

• Perform deep-dive analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement

• Automate recurring analysis and workflows using Python libraries

• Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, Product, Operations, and Data Engineering

• Ensure data quality, validation, and consistency across reporting pipelines

Tech Stack:

SQL / PrestoDB | Python | Tableau | Cursor | Google Sheets

What we’re looking for:

• 3–5 years of experience in Data Analytics / Business Analytics

• Strong SQL skills with experience working on large datasets

• Hands-on experience with Python for analysis and automation

• Experience with data science environments such as DSW, Jupiter Notebook

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor)

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability

• Experience building dashboards and communicating insights to stakeholders

• Ability to communicate insights clearly with business stakeholders
