Data Analyst

Position Summary

The Business Data Analyst will serve as a critical partner across Financial Grade (FG) and My Senior Health Plan (MSHP), transforming data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and client outcomes. This role bridges business, technology, and leadership teams to ensure data is accurate, visible, and leveraged consistently to support decision-making.


This individual will help define, track, and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure scorecards and reporting systems align with company goals and strategic priorities.


Key Responsibilities


Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze business performance across sales, marketing, operations, and client service functions for FG and MSHP
  • Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve conversion rates, retention, and operational efficiency
  • Build and maintain marketing leads report in collaboration with marketing team members
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership
  • Provide support to our commissions analyst in the reconciliation of our CRM client data to insurance carrier statements

Reporting & Dashboard Development

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting systems (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel, CRM tools, etc.)
  • Standardize reporting across both organizations for consistency and scalability
  • Ensure real-time visibility into KPIs for leadership and department owners

Scorecard Ownership

  • Design and maintain company and team scorecards for each department including Sales, CS, Marketing
  • Collaborate with leaders to define 5–15 measurable KPIs that truly reflect success
  • Ensure scorecard data is accurate, updated weekly, and usable in management meetings
  • Flag issues proactively when KPIs are off-track

Meeting Support

  • Provide data insights and reporting for leadership and management meetings
  • Track trends over time to support accountability and continuous improvement

Data Integrity & Governance

  • Ensure data accuracy across CRM, marketing platforms, enrollment systems, and financial tools
  • Develop standardized definitions, processes, and documentation for key metrics
  • Partner with IT and operations to improve data pipelines and integration

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Client Services, Finance, HR, and Technology teams
  • Support product initiatives such as myappointmentset and other SaaS solutions with analytics insights
  • Translate business needs into data requirements and reporting solutions
  • Support the company with data migration projects

Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend data-driven process improvements
  • Support automation initiatives to reduce manual reporting and increase scalability
  • Align analytics initiatives with company goals and quarterly priorities


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, or related field
  • 3–7+ years of experience in data analytics or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling)
  • Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, Medicare, insurance, or financial services industries
  • Familiarity with call center and sales funnel analytics
  • Experience supporting SaaS or technology-driven products
  • SQL or basic data engineering knowledge
