Data Analyst - Power BI

This position will focus on supporting the Retail & Consumer Products Quality team through the collection, cleansing, integration, and analysis of quality data. The role will be responsible for identifying data-driven improvement opportunities, developing complex dashboards, supporting special projects, and collaborating with Quality leadership to drive strategic decisions based on insights.

The position will also contribute to the creation and maintenance of data products, reports, and analytical solutions for the department.

This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days per week onsite at the Mexico City office.

  • Collect, clean, integrate, and analyze data from multiple sources for incorporation into complex dashboards.
  • Evaluate, interpret, and analyze data to generate conclusions and action recommendations.
  • Develop, update, and maintain advanced reports and dashboards in Power BI.
  • Prepare and present reports with clear recommendations and evidence-based arguments.
  • Collaborate with Quality leadership to identify improvement opportunities based on data analysis.
  • Identify improvement opportunities, key metrics, and corrective actions when performance is not progressing as expected.
  • Support the development, definition, and implementation of analytical and reporting products and services for the Quality department.
  • Maintain data catalogs and ensure the availability of key data sources for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Train internal clients on department applications, analytical products, or reports when necessary.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities to strengthen departmental operations and overall quality.
  • Support the implementation of new processes related to data, analytics, or quality.
  • Comply with the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and physical and digital security practices.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Experience in data management, integration, cleansing, and analysis.
  • Ability to organize, correlate, and interpret information to generate insights.
  • Experience developing complex dashboards and analytical reports in Power BI.
  • Advanced English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically 4+ years of experience in quality-related roles.
  • Experience investigating and resolving data issues identified through dashboards.
  • Proven ability to identify project needs, define objectives, and independently plan and execute initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Quality processes, procedures, and objectives.
  • Proficiency with computer equipment and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel).
