Data Analytics Engineer

You will design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines and analytics infrastructure to support company metrics and ad-hoc analysis. You will resolve data consistency issues across relational and NoSQL sources, design data marts and warehouse layer structures, optimize query performance and cost for large datasets, and take ownership of initial analytics platform architecture and implementation.

Responsibilities

Build and operate scalable data pipelines
Define and resolve data consistency issues between RDB and NoSQL sources
Design and build data marts for metrics and automated ad-hoc analysis
Design data warehouse layer structure (staging, intermediate, mart)
Optimize analytical query performance and cost in large databases
Own initial architecture design and implementation for large-scale analytics platform
Operate workflow orchestration (e.g., Airflow) and ETL processes

Requirements

3+ years of practical experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer
Experience operating Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools
Deep understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL, BigQuery etc.)
Experience designing data warehouse layer structures (staging, intermediate, mart)
Experience optimizing query performance and cost in large-scale database environments
Proven experience resolving data consistency issues across multiple data sources
Experience with dbt (nice to have)
Data Analyst experience or close collaboration with Data Analysts (nice to have)
Experience handling unstructured data such as text and images (nice to have)
CI/CD pipeline implementation and version control experience (Git) (nice to have)
