Data Analytics Specialist - Premier Inn Hub

Reporting to the Information Technology Director, you'll play a key role in transforming data into meaningful business insights that help drive better decisions across our hotels and regional Hub office. You'll be responsible for developing modern reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytics that support business performance across Operations, Commercial, Finance, Revenue, People & Culture, Procurement, and Guest Experience.<\/span>
<\/p>

You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand their challenges and translate complex data into simple, actionable insights. From designing executive dashboards to automating reporting processes, you'll help move the business from manual reporting to real\-time, data\-driven decision making.<\/span>

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems, has a passion for analytics, and thrives on turning data into stories that influence business performance. You'll have the opportunity to work with modern Microsoft technologies including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, and advanced analytics tools while helping shape the future of business intelligence within Premier Inn.<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>

\u2022 Minimum 5\u20137 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or a related field<\/span>
<\/p>

\u2022 Strong experience developing end\-to\-end reporting and analytics solutions<\/span>
<\/p>

\u2022 Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Query, DAX, SQL and relational databases<\/span>
<\/p>

\u2022 Experience building executive dashboards, KPIs, and business performance reports<\/span>
<\/p>

\u2022 Excellent analytical and problem\-solving skills with strong attention to detail<\/span>
<\/p>

\u2022 Ability to communicate complex data and technical concepts to both technical and non\-technical audiences<\/span>
<\/p>

\u2022 Experience integrating data from multiple systems and automating reporting processes<\/span>
<\/p>

\u2022 Strong stakeholder management, planning, and prioritization skills<\/span>
<\/p>

\u2022 Experience with Python, Spark, semantic modelling, and data warehousing concepts would be an advantage<\/span>
<\/p>

\u2022 Microsoft certifications such as PL\-300, DP\-600, or DP\-700 are highly desirable<\/span>
<\/p>

\u2022 Hospitality or GCC experience would be an advantage<\/span>
