OVERVIEW
GIC Sales Strategy & Intelligence team partners with our global General Mills sales teams in providing them with analytical horsepower and enable business continuity so they can focus on core activities – Selling, driving distribution gains and optimizing merchandising plans to deliver sales volume targets. We enable customer, pricing & promotion strategies across the global markets through our focused capabilities of Sales Execution, Trade & Strategic Revenue Management and Category Management. Teams within function are aligned to the above focused capabilities for each of our markets and each team member specializes in domains of Advanced Analytics, Visual Insights & Planogramming.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
FSA Enablement & Process Optimization (40%)
- Ensure timely and high-quality deliverables of own desk and for all responsible FSAs and trainees.
- Oversee onboarding and training of new FSAs and contract resources, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Identify and drive value-add projects across FSA desks of tag team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Attend relevant meetings and training sessions alongside tagged FSAs to provide support and insights.
- Maintain comprehensive process documentation to ensure standardization and knowledge retention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows and address process gaps.
- Provide customer-specific data for scorecarding and frequent ad-hoc customer needs (Nielsen, E2 Open, and AFO reporting)
- Assist with Region trade and sales reporting as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
- Experience in training and mentoring new team members
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify process improvement opportunities
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
Sales Execution & Support (60%).
Contracts & Deal Management:
- Handle contracts, deal sheets, and portal submissions for pricing and promotions.
- Maintain up-to-date records and compliance with internal approval processes.
Sell Sheets & Distribution Planning:
- Create and update sell sheets to support new retail opportunities.
- Assist in Distribution Planner updates to track product availability and placement.
Image Management & Customer Support:
- Maintain an organized library of product images for internal and external use.
- Provide CT (Communicator Tool) assistance as needed.
Reporting & Data Analysis:
- Generate account-specific reports (e.g., EYC, AFO, Nielsen) to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with teams to analyze sales trends and opportunities.
Food Show & Trade Planner Management:
- Support Food Show preparation and execution, ensuring accurate product representation.
- Manage and update the Trade Planner, ensuring promotional activities align with business goals.
Forms & Documentation:
- Manage and process new item setups, conversions, and pricing updates.
- Ensure accurate and timely completionon of required forms for product listings.
Engaging Leader

Experience
Minimum years of related experience required: | 2+ years |
Preferred years of related experience: | 2+ years of experience in any of the following: account management, trade funding, analytics, finance, sales, marketing, and/or category management, retail |
