Job Summary

The Data Collector is responsible for accurately gathering, recording, and maintaining production data throughout the poultry processing operation. This position supports plant operations by tracking production metrics, monitoring product flow, documenting operational information, and ensuring data is entered accurately and timely. The Data Collector works closely with production supervisors, quality assurance, and operational teams to support efficiency, productivity, and compliance standards.

Essential Functions

  • Collect and record production data from various processing departments.
  • Monitor production lines and document hourly production counts, downtime, yields, and other operational metrics.
  • Enter collected data into computer systems, spreadsheets, or production tracking software.
  • Verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies when identified.
  • Prepare reports and communicate production results to supervisors and management.
  • Track product movement and inventory information as required.
  • Monitor operational performance against established goals and standards.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.
  • Assist management with data analysis and special projects as assigned.
  • Follow all company policies, food safety requirements, biosecurity procedures, and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

This position is part of a production team supporting poultry processing operations.
