DATA ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise reports using Jasper Reports Studio.
• Manage the full report lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Administer and support Jasper Reports Server across development, testing, and production environments.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for reporting requirements.
• Create complex reports using JRXML, parameters, variables, sub reports, and reusable templates.
• Build drill-down and drill-through reports for business analysis.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7 years of experience in enterprise reporting and BI development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jasper Reports Studio and Jasper Reports Server.
• Proficiency in JRXML, report expressions, parameters, variables, and report design.
• Strong SQL skills with experience handling large datasets and query optimization.
• Experience in report deployment, scheduling, and server administration.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
• Knowledge of metadata management, domains, data sources, and report security.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with SAFe Agile methodology.
