This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, adtech operations, and audience strategy, ensuring seamless activation of data across a complex marketing ecosystem. You will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of audience data, from onboarding and ingestion to segmentation and delivery across multiple partner platforms. The position combines hands-on technical oversight with people management responsibilities, guiding a team that supports critical data pipelines and integrations. You will play a key role in ensuring operational reliability, scalability, and performance of audience activation workflows. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders such as Product, Engineering, Client Success, and Partnerships, you will help shape how data is activated at scale. Accountabilities:
- Lead and mentor a team responsible for data onboarding, integration support, and audience activation operations, ensuring high performance and clear priorities.
- Oversee end-to-end data provider onboarding, ensuring accurate ingestion, configuration, and alignment with defined data standards.
- Manage audience activation workflows, including the delivery, refresh, and maintenance of first- and third-party audiences across partner platforms such as DSPs and social ecosystems.
- Establish and maintain monitoring systems, escalation processes, and operational frameworks to ensure pipeline reliability and timely issue resolution.
- Drive troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for data ingestion, processing, and activation issues, implementing preventive improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Client Success, and Technical Account teams to support integrations and platform enhancements.
- Define, document, and continuously improve operational processes, automation, and best practices for scalable data activation.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
- 8+ years of experience in adtech, martech, data integrations, or technical operations environments.
- 2+ years of experience in team leadership, people management, or project leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of data ingestion pipelines, API/file-based integrations, and audience activation workflows.
- Familiarity with advertising ecosystems such as DSPs, social platforms, and data onboarding/marketing platforms.
- Working knowledge of SQL and experience analyzing structured datasets.
- Experience with cloud data environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Snowflake) and strong proficiency in Excel or similar tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and operational leadership skills with the ability to manage complex, fast-moving workflows.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
