Driven by the bp values and comprising capabilities in data, procurement, finance and customer service, the FBT centre will drive cutting-edge digital solutions and agile ways of working.


Key Accountabilities and challenges

  • Provide day-to-day support for SAP MDG processes, including data creation, updates, and governance workflows
  • Act as a point of contact for business users regarding MDG-related queries and issues
  • Provide guidance on CR creation, approvals, and data governance processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Procurement, Finance, and Supplier Support to resolve business-critical issues
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to Change Requests (CRs), including submission errors and workflow failures
  • Monitor and troubleshoot IDOC failures and integration issues impacting master data processing
  • Investigate and resolve data-related issues impacting business processes (e.g., payment issues, vendor changes, master data inconsistencies)
  • Perform root cause analysis using system logs, CR logs, and transaction data
  • Coordinate with technical teams for complex defect resolution
  • Support UAT testing

Essential Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer Science, IT, Accounting.

Minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience managing a client-service oriented function with experience in SAP
MDG Functional area
Sound experience in SAP ERP and SAP MDG.
Experience of working cross culturally and in an international environment
Ability to communicate and influence across different levels in the organisation
Engaging and collaborative way of working
Resilient and experienced in working in multi-faceted environment
SAP MDG Certification preferred.
