Data\nGovernance and Quality Assurance<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

  • Design,\n operationalise and oversee the data governance function within the\n organisation.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Enable and\n support data governance processes, including data availability,\n accessibility, integrity, quality (including accuracy, consistency, and\n reliability), usability, security, and compliance (in collaboration with\n IT and legal teams).<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Assist with\n regular data cleaning and quality checks to ensure high data integrity<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Develop and\n maintain documentation, SOPs, and metadata to support consistent and\n high\-quality data management.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Design data\n quality dashboards and set up regular monitoring and review alerts.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Work within\n the organisation to enhance data literacy, improve existing data processes\n and workflows and support future data process design and development.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Work across\n teams to roll out data quality improvement plans, design processes to\n collect missing data or improve data accuracy.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Facilitate\n cross\-functional collaboration to improve data practices, including\n onboarding sessions, governance workshops, and learning events.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Conduct\n assessments of key data assets and identify potential risks or gaps,\n including data process mapping.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Coordinate and\n lead data governance efforts, including defining data ownership, steward\n roles, and accountability structures across operational teams.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Support\n product stewardship for key data platforms, ensuring alignment between\n data processes, user needs, and platform functionality.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Lead or\n support change management processes for data tools and structures,\n ensuring stakeholder alignment and minimising disruption.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Monitor data\n hygiene and escalate discrepancies to the relevant team members. <\/span>

    Data\nAnalysis and Insights Generation<\/span><\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Conduct data\n analysis to support strategic decision\-making and programme improvements.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Respond to\n data requests from programme teams and leadership.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Conduct\n routine data checks to ensure data integrity.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Identify\n patterns and trends in data and provide clear summaries for different\n audiences.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Support the\n preparation of data insights briefs and reports.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Create,\n enhance and support the use of interactive dashboards and analytics tools\n to improve data\-driven decision\-making across the organisation and\n network. <\/span>

      Supporting\nOrganisational Learning and Adaptive Strategy<\/span><\/b>
      <\/p>

      • Assist with\n enabling teams to leverage insights for learning and programme\n improvement.<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Contribute to\n rapid experimentation by supporting data collection and analysis\n processes.<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Support the\n delivery of basic data literacy training across the organisation to\n improve data engagement and interpretation.<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Support teams to improve data capturing, quality assurance and\n related processes.<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Translate data\n insights into accessible formats for programme teams and leadership.<\/span>

        Research\nand Evaluation Support<\/span><\/b>
        <\/p>

        • Support the\n Senior Data Analyst and Research team with research design, data analysis,\n and interpretation.<\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Assist in\n co\-conceptualising and co\-creating research and evaluation questions,\n studies, and terms of reference.<\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Provide input\n into research reports and recommendations.<\/span>

          Requirements<\/h3>

          Essential\nSkills and Experience<\/span><\/b>
          <\/p>

          • A minimum of a\n Bachelor\u2019s degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Economics, Mathematics,\n or a related field.<\/span><\/b>
            <\/li>
          • At least 6\-8\n years of experience in data analysis, data management or a related field,\n including experience where you have had ownership over the data process,\n and demonstrable leadership experience.<\/span>
            <\/li>
          • Strong\n quantitative and analytical skills<\/span>
            <\/li>
          • A curious\n approach to technology, with interest and experience working across\n multiple tools to solve organisational challenges.<\/span>
            <\/li>
          • Excellent\n knowledge of and ability to work with SQL databases.<\/span><\/b>
            <\/li>
          • Experience\n with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).<\/span><\/b>
            <\/li>
          • Ability to\n summarise data insights and communicate findings to non\-technical\n audiences.<\/span>
            <\/li>
          • Experience in\n managing and working with large datasets.<\/span><\/b>
            <\/li>
          • Strong\n attention to detail and accuracy.<\/span>
            <\/li><\/ul>

            Desirable<\/span><\/b>
            <\/p>

            • Knowledge of\n statistical principles, especially relating to designing and running\n randomised control trials.<\/span>
              <\/li>
            • Experience\n working in a social impact or nonprofit context.<\/span>
              <\/li>
            • Proficiency in\n Excel and at least one statistical tool (e.g., Stata, R, SPSS).<\/span>
              <\/li>
            • Familiarity\n with survey software (e.g. SurveyCTO), CRMs (Microsoft Dynamics), and\n Azure.<\/span>
              <\/li>
            • Basic\n knowledge of data process mapping and workflow optimisation.<\/span>
              <\/li>
            • Knowledge of\n automation using code and/or workflow tools (Make.com, Zapier, Power\n Automate etc.)<\/span>
