DC Operations Manager

The Distribution Center (DC) Operations Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence and achieving key performance objectives, including gross margin targets, FTE management, expense control, and customer service levels. This role leads the implementation of strategies, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and overall performance across the Distribution Center. The DC Operations Manager is also accountable for budget development, performance tracking, and reporting.

This position has oversight of our Distribution Center operations in Cambridge, ON and Scarborough, ON, ensuring alignment with company objectives and operational excellence across both locations.

Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead Distribution Center operations to achieve financial, operational, and customer service goals.
  • Implement and monitor strategies, policies, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Train, coach, and support Warehouse Managers and the Distribution Center Management team.
  • Partner with the General Manager to set priorities, develop action plans, and support business cases for investments.
  • Oversee labor relations, including collective agreements and committee participation.
  • Manage carrier relationships and returns processes.
  • Participate as a member of the regional management committee.

To join our team, you need:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing Distribution Center operations.
  • Proven track record of managing gross profit performance, with a strong understanding of financial statements and budgeting for large-scale operations.
  • Experience in the automotive aftermarket industry is considered an asset.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
