DCO Site Lead

As the Data Center Site Lead, you will serve as the main accountable owner for all matters related to data center critical operations, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders (mainly colocation provider) to ensure operational excellence. You will work hand-in-hand with access management and security systems to adhere to Oracle's stringent data center security standards/policies. Additionally, you will actively involve in incident, change, and vendor management for data center space, cooling, and power systems. Your proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks associated with data center operations will be vital to the success of this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with colocation providers and relevant stakeholders to maintain 100% data center availability.

  • Ensure adherence to Oracle's data center security standards through close coordination with access management and security systems.

  • Lead and manage incident, change, and problem related to data center space, cooling, and power systems.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with data center operations.

  • Initiate corrective and preventive actions on incidents and implement global/industry best practices.

  • Provide regular reports and audits on data center performance and security.

  • Review operating procedures such as SOO, SOP, EOP, MOP and collaborate with relevant stakeholders for the documents development when deemed necessary by the data center operation’s needs.

  • Establish & develop site-specific processes with respective colocation provider.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and standards.

  • Oversee and mentor a team of data center technicians and engineers.

  • Provide support to new data centre build/deployment to meet business expectations.

  • Lead and facilitate regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly operations meetings with the colocation provider.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data center management.

  • May require working outside of normal business hours when deemed necessary by the business needs.
