Our Deals Advisory Practice helps businesses realise the potential of their mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and capital markets with a global network of industry experts coupled with data-driven insights. As the largest in Singapore, we provide faster growth, stronger capabilities, a competitive edge across the entire deal continuum, from strategy formulation, deal origination, transaction support and finance raising, to post deal integration and exit.

Our Corporate Finance practice possesses significant experience in middle-market cross-border Merger & Acquisition (“M&A”) and private capital fundraising transactions with companies across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. As the No. 1 M&A advisor by volume globally (according to MergerMarket), we provide investment banking advisory services to clients from a diverse range of sectors.

Our off-cycle internship will provide you with exposure to a multitude of both buy and sell side deals throughout the entire deal process. This program is an excellent opportunity to take your career to the next level through practical hands-on experience under the guidance of mentors and working within a highly collaborative culture at PwC.

Key Responsibilities:

Step into the fast-paced world of corporate finance and investment banking. As an Off-Cycle Intern, you will work alongside experienced deal makers on live M&A transactions and pitches, gaining first-hand exposure to how deals are originated, structured, and executed for some of the region's most dynamic clients.

  • Prepare, analyse, and interpret historical and projected financial information to support deal execution and client decision-making.
  • Analyse market and industry data, build detailed financial models (including DCF, trading comparables, and precedent transactions), and develop pitch books and client materials for M&A engagements.
  • Support the execution of live transactions and pitches under the guidance of senior team members and engagement leaders.
  • Contribute to research, due diligence, and preparation of marketing documents across a range of sectors and deal types.
  • Collaborate with a high-performing team to deliver quality work that creates real impact for our clients.

What We Are Looking For

  • Undergraduates from local and overseas universities, preferably pursuing a degree in Accountancy, Business, Economics, or Finance.
  • Strong academic track record (minimum Second Class Upper Honours or equivalent) supported by meaningful co-curricular involvement.
  • A genuine passion for building a career in corporate finance and investment banking.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and interpretive skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a multicultural team while also showing initiative to work independently when required.
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, confident, and creative, with the drive to take ownership of your work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Please indicate your first-choice role and, where applicable, a second-choice role, based on your skills, interests, and career aspirations.
