Our people in Deals Advisory focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals.

As part of PwC’s deal integration and value realisation team, you will help clients successfully integrate acquisitions and unlock the full value of their investments. Our specialised teams work across the deal lifecycle, delivering expertise in valuations, financial analysis, M&A transaction execution and fundraising, as well as developing post-merger integration strategy. We partner alongside our clients to ensure a seamless transition from deal close to operational excellence.

About the Strategic Capital Solutions

Welcome to Strategic Capital Solutions — PwC's specialist team at the intersection of investment banking, private credit, and structured equity fundraising advisory. Here, we work with corporates, investors, and financial sponsors to structure capital solutions, execute fundraising mandates, and unlock value through strategic transactions. We are the first movers in the fast-growing private credit space, which has expanded significantly in Asia over the last 7 years. If you are excited by the pace and prestige of investment banking advisory — combined with the resources and global reach of a Big 4 firm — this is where your career can truly take off.

Key Responsibilities:

As a SCS Intern, you will work shoulder-to-shoulder with Directors, Managers, and Associates across the full transaction lifecycle — from origination to execution. You will gain rare, hands-on exposure to live deals that sharpen your technical, analytical, and commercial skills. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engage across the deal lifecycle – Work closely with team members from deal origination to the execution of live transactions, under the mentorship of experienced Directors, Managers, and Associates.

  • Identify business opportunities – Support the team in sourcing and evaluating potential deal opportunities, and contribute to the creation of pitchbooks for clients and investors.

  • Build financial models and perform analyses – Assist in developing comprehensive financial models and performing in-depth financial analyses to support client strategic decisions.

  • Craft deal marketing collateral – Help draft teasers and Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs) to market fundraising and capital-raising mandates to targeted investors.

  • Conduct market and industry research – Gather and synthesise insights on industries, companies, and capital markets to inform transaction strategy and investor positioning.

  • Sharpen your technical toolkit – Attend structured training sessions on private credit, financial modelling, Excel best practices, and MS Office productivity tools.

  • Learn from senior professionals – Benefit from direct mentorship, live coaching, and regular feedback from a team of seasoned deal-makers.

What We Offer:

  • A Fast-Track to Finance Careers – Build a strong foundation for a career in investment banking, private credit, or private equity, with real deal exposure from day one.

  • High-Profile Projects – Work on meaningful, high-impact transactions with leading corporates, investors, and financial institutions.

  • Mentorship from Seasoned Professionals – Gain guidance from experienced Directors, Managers, and Associates who have executed some of the region's most complex structured deals.

  • Structured Learning & Development – Access technical training, financial modelling masterclasses, and soft-skill workshops to accelerate your growth.

  • A Collaborative, Entrepreneurial Culture – Join a supportive, high-performing team that values initiative, intellectual curiosity, and camaraderie.

  • Full-Time Conversion Opportunity – Outstanding interns may be considered for full-time graduate opportunities upon successful completion of the internship.

  • Global PwC Network – Tap into PwC's global Deals network, opening doors to cross-border transactions, international secondments, and a truly global career.

What are we looking for:

We are looking for ambitious, analytically-sharp, and commercially-driven students who are excited to launch a career in investment banking advisory, private credit and/or private equity. You will thrive in this role if you are:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline from a local or overseas university.

  • A top academic performer — a strong academic record (minimum 2nd Class Upper Honours or equivalent) complemented by previous internship experience in Corporate Finance or Investment Banking is a plus.

  • Genuinely passionate about finance and deal-making — with a clear interest in investment banking, private credit, private equity, or M&A advisory.

  • Technically proficient — strong financial modelling, valuation, and MS Office skills (via coursework, internships, competitions, or self-study) are a significant advantage.

  • A sharp analytical thinker — able to distil complex information into clear insights and draw commercially sound conclusions.

  • A resourceful self-starter — proactive, detail-oriented, and driven to produce high-quality work under tight timelines.

  • Resilient and adaptable — thriving in the fast-paced, high-intensity environment that characterises deal-making.

  • An excellent communicator — with polished written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, and the confidence to engage senior professionals.

  • A team player with entrepreneurial spirit — collaborative, curious, and eager to contribute ideas beyond the task at hand.

  • Multilingual candidates are welcome — fluency in other languages is a plus for cross-border deals across Asia and beyond.

  • Familiarity with AI and generative AI tools is highly desirable.
